The White Salmon Riverfest & Symposium is made possible because . . .

The White Salmon Riverfest & Symposium is an event organized with education and enjoyment in mind. Because this is a non-profit event, the support we get from businesses, organizations and the community - boaters and non-boaters - is essential for its' success and longevity.
We feel very lucky with the support we have received over the last 4 years, from local businesses and organizations all the way to companies in the East Coast and up into Canada.
Thank you to the following, for your support in 2009!

White Salmon Symposium

The 4th annual WS symposium has a "new look" this year and we are fired up!

The morning will consist of educational presentations and discussion panels, focusing on learning about the White Salmon River for our own knowledge, but also for sharing with others - whether you are a land owner along the river, a raft guide taking guests down the river, or a kayaker enjoying the river with friends - you will walk away with a better understanding and appreciation for the White Salmon River watershed.

Some topics we will cover are:
* Update on the Dam Removal
* Climate change and what it means for the WS River
* Virtual tour of the White Salmon river - if you've never seen the river . . . you can see it here for the first time . . . without getting wet!

These are just a few of the topics we will cover. Enjoy the educational boothes and participate in our awesome raffle.

The morning educational symposium will conclude with a catered lunch and then "off to the races" . . . literally! Details for the raft/kayak races and evening party are coming soon!

Join us on Facebook - White Salmon River and invite yourself to the event!
